Barry Thys

Owner

Barry has lived in Squaw Valley since the age of 12 and has been skiing here since he was two years old. After learning the electric guitar, Barry developed an interest in sound systems and electrical systems by the age of 16. After spending the first half of his life as a ski racer, (as a member of the Men’s Downhill US Ski Team from 1982 – 1985) Barry then got a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Golden Gate University, graduating cum laude.

At age 25, Barry began working as an electrician and a pilot. He saw great potential in the electrical contracting field with a company that could integrate simple solutions to end users. To this day, Barry is still an avid pilot with a commercial instrument multi-engine rating with over 3,000 hours of flight experience. Barry’s greatest strength is his passion to give his customers superior quality products with rapid response and consistent, honest service.

Jayson Miller

Captain

Jayson was born and raised in Corinth, Vermont. His vocational training throughout high school in electrical technology and residential wiring lead him to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Vermont Technical College. Jayson arrived on the North shore of Lake Tahoe in the Fall of 1999. A skier and avid outdoorsmen, Jayson can give anyone a run for their money in the backcountry. A master of all things electrical, Jayson strength lies in his knack for visual conceptualization. Jayson has an ability to understand the functions of entire systems at the onset of a project, thus enabling him to always get the job done right. Do it once. Do it right.
